CO₂ Test - High Throughput

The Somex CO₂ tester performs a fully automated replication of the ‘industry standard’ handshake method.

The Somex CO₂ tester can handle product which is packaged in can, glass bottle or plastic bottle, up to 3 litres capacity.

The CO₂ tester automatically grips, pierces the package and introduces a temperature probe into the beverage.

The pressure and temperature of the contents are measured after the packages are tilted to horizontal and shaken to a precise specification. The pressure and temperature are used to calculate the CO₂ content.

The CO₂ tester can be supplied in triple station format as shown here or other formats if required.
